MAG Elevates Helicopter Interiors to New Heights with Its Bell 429 Designs
The first Bell 429 executive helicopter outfitted with a new VIP interior by Macaer Aviation Group’s MAG Design Studio was unveiled recently at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition, in Geneva, after a three-month installation process. The chopper’s interior features four luxury ergonomic seats in white with red accents, and dual center consoles with a glossy black finish, just one of a variety of available seating options. Owners also can select from a wide range of colors, Italian fabrics, and amenities to create a unique design suited to their particular tastes and needs. The interior will be available as an option for new Bell 429s or as a retrofit.
The design also features MAG’s proprietary noise-abatement system, which reduces cabin noise to levels low enough to allow for normal conversations and to listen to music without headsets. The studio also has designed its own entertainment system, with a customized interactive touchscreen that controls audio, video, moving maps, a laptop, a camera, and cabin-comfort functions such as heat and air-conditioning, as well as the tint of the windows. MAG operates six completion centers in the United Kingdom, Italy, Russia, and the United States.
